The pupils at Mowden Junior School Darlington welcomed a very special visitor to school on Wednesday 15th December. The Mayor of Darlington was delighted to watch the children perform and hand out their DMS Star Certificates and stickers. PUT TWEET HERE? 

 

Durham Music Service teachers Ele Leckie and Michael Franey have been so impressed with the new musicians this term and were so excited to celebrate their achievements with a special presentation. Mr Franey said: 

“This term Mowden's Music Makers have sang with vocals and sign language as well as playing  boomwhackers, brass, cellos and recorders.  Mr Franey and Miss Leckie have been so proud of everyone especially our brass and cello players. Keep up the good work DMS Stars”
