Caroline Darnbrook – Director – Products and Marketing at Darlington Building Society

A keen supporter and sponsor of Durham Music Events and concerts, Caroline has responsibility to lead the Brand, Products, Marketing (including all Customer Propositions), Customer Insight, Website, Community, Volunteering and External Communications activities of Darlington Building Society, ensuring that they maintain the position as an independent building society that strives to create a feeling of pride amongst its staff, members and local communities. Her commercial and marketing experience has been invaluable in helping publicity and branding for Durham Music Trust. Caroline has also been awarded Marketing Director of the Year 2018 at the North East Marketing Awards in October 2018 and with her team helped Darlington Building Society to win the award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign for it's Darly the Train campaign, which features the children's character with his own book, encouraging young people to get into the habit of saving.
