DMS Stars Band Consett

DMS Stars Band Consett is a vibrant music group for pupils in the early stages of their playing career, with music and activities that focus on the core ensemble skills of playing in time together, following a conductor and understanding how different parts fit together to make a band piece.

As pupils progress, they will be offered the opportunity to develop these skills further in Consett Wind Band. This year, we hope to be performing at a variety of fantastic venues, including d Consett Academy Theatre.

Come along and experience all the fun and enjoyment that comes with being part of a musical group!

Rehearsals are weekly during term time Thursday 3.40pm - 4.25 pm.

Instruments: Flute, clarinet, saxophone, oboe, bassoon, cornet, trumpet, trombone, euphonium, baritone, French horn, tenor horn, tuba, drums

Level: Beginner to Grade 1

N.B. You only need to sign up once per academic year for ensemble, not every week
