Durham Music Training Choirs are open to anyone aged 9-14 who loves singing!

This is a brand new DMS choir, following the format of the Durham Training choir who last year alone sang in a Professional Opera at the Gala Theatre, performed with the orchestra of Opera North at Darlington Hippodrome Theatre, a special service at Durham Cathedral for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee and as part of the performance with DMS in Hall 1 at the Sage Gateshead.

We sing a wide range of music, focusing on making a good sound, learning about harmonies and performing with feeling. But most importantly- having fun through singing!

Rehearsals happen weekly during term time at Cotsford Primary School on Thursdays 3.45pm - 4.45pm.

Ages: 9-14 (years 5-9)
