DMS Big Play @ Beamish

Pupils from Durham Music Service are going on tour and taking over the Band Stand and Welfare Hall.

We will be featuring pupils from across the county, giving them the opportunity to take part in a large event where around 250 children are planning to take part. 

Pupils from Easington and Shotton will be entertaining the public as part of two large wind bands outside on the band stand.   These groups will be featuring some of our youngest pupils all the way up to some of our experienced performers which will be a fantastic opportunity. 

In the Welfare Hall, we will have a number of different music groups made up of pupils from Consett, Beamish, Shotely Bridge, Newton Hall and Lanchester showcasing their talent.  We have choirs, brass groups, a clarinet group made up of one of our whole class programmes, along with other mixed instrumental groups who are very excited to perform for you.
