Instruments Instrument Hire Durham Music Service have a variety of instruments available to hire such as: Brass instruments Woodwind instruments Strings Parents/carers are responsible for the instruments that are hired for their child, we would like to make you aware that if any damages are caused or if the instrument is lost or stolen, you will be charge for the repairs or replacement. We recommend you have adequate insurance cover for the instrument that you are hiring. Instruments will often be covered by household ‘contents’ policies or they can be insured separately through specialist insurance policies. Drum sticks are not expensive and are available from the following: www.newcastledrum.co.uk www.musicroom.com www.amazon.co.uk If your child does not have access to a drum kit at home they may find it useful to have a drum practice pad – these are available from the same outlets.
