Welcome to the 3rd Annual Durham Vocal Festival, this year promises to be even bigger and more exciting than ever, from world famous artists, thousands of performers and Two World Premieres.

We celebrate the vibrant vocal music both locally and national, celebrating the heritage, education, spirituality and variety of repertoire of vocal music.

The festival opens with Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment performing Handel’s Messiah with our very own Durham Choral Society, performances from the world famous VOCES8, celebration of Community Choirs, inaugural Office Choir of the Year (from Music @work), the hugely popular Acapella Evening with Northern Lights, and concludes with North East Festival of Youth Choirs.

This year we are featuring 2 world premieres during the festival.
